History

Right Way Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning Inc. was founded in 1989 by Ed and Allison Clark as Right Way Plumbing and Heating, operating from their family garage. Initially providing plumbing and radiant heating services, the business soon expanded its offerings to include HVAC solutions in response to growing demand. This strategic decision transformed Right Way into a comprehensive mechanical contracting service, simplifying the process for customers who sought a single source for plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and ventilation needs. With a dedication to quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction, Right Way quickly gained recognition as a trusted service provider in the Sedro Woolley community.

In 1991, Right Way relocated from the Clarks’ garage to a modest shop in downtown Sedro Woolley. Rapid growth necessitated another move to their current 10,000-square-foot facility at Sunset Industrial Park, providing ample space to accommodate their expanding operations. The incorporation of the business into its present name in 1993 marked a milestone in its journey towards professionalism and longevity. Notably, in 1995, Right Way was honored as Sedro Woolley’s Small Business of the Year, a testament to its contribution to the community’s economic development.

Today, Right Way Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning Inc. remains deeply ingrained in the fabric of Sedro Woolley, with Ed’s children, Logan and Hannah, actively involved in the business. Their leadership ensures continuity and innovation, positioning Right Way as a cornerstone of the community for generations to come. As dedicated members of the Sedro-Woolley Chamber of Commerce and the Skagit Island County Building Association, Right Way continues to exemplify professionalism, excellence, and community spirit, fostering unity and progress in every endeavor.

To prevent pipes from freezing, insulate them in unheated areas, such as attics and crawl spaces. Keep garage doors closed, and let faucets drip during extremely cold weather to relieve pressure in the pipes.

What should I do if my sink is clogged?

Try using a plunger to dislodge the clog. If that doesn’t work, you can use a plumber’s snake or a chemical drain cleaner. If the clog persists, it’s best to call a professional plumber.

Why does my toilet keep running?

A constantly running toilet is often caused by a faulty flapper valve or a fill valve that needs adjustment or replacement. It’s essential to fix this issue promptly to prevent water waste and higher utility bills.

Regular maintenance is key to preventing plumbing emergencies. Schedule annual inspections with a professional plumber to identify and address any potential issues before they escalate. Additionally, be mindful of what you flush down toilets and pour down drains to avoid clogs and damage.

How do I know if I have a water leak in my home?

Signs of a water leak include unusually high water bills, damp or moldy areas, water stains on walls or ceilings, and the sound of running water when no fixtures are in use. If you suspect a leak, it’s crucial to have it repaired promptly to prevent water damage and mold growth.

Can I fix a leaking faucet myself?

Why is my HVAC system blowing warm air instead of cold during the summer?

Several factors could cause your HVAC system to blow warm air instead of cold during the summer months. One common issue is a refrigerant leak, which can lead to a decrease in cooling efficiency. Another potential culprit is a dirty or clogged air filter, restricting airflow and hindering the system’s ability to cool the air effectively. Additionally, a malfunctioning compressor or faulty thermostat could also be to blame. To address this problem, it’s essential to schedule a professional HVAC inspection to diagnose the issue accurately and perform any necessary repairs or maintenance tasks.

Why is my HVAC system making strange noises when it operates?

Strange noises coming from your HVAC system can indicate various underlying issues that require attention. One common problem is loose or worn-out components, such as fan blades or motor bearings, which can produce rattling or banging sounds during operation. Additionally, debris or dirt buildup in the system’s ductwork can lead to airflow restrictions and cause whistling or hissing noises. Furthermore, a malfunctioning compressor or refrigerant line can result in grinding or squealing sounds. To address this issue, it’s essential to have a qualified HVAC technician inspect your system thoroughly, identify the source of the noise, and perform any necessary repairs or adjustments.

Why is my HVAC system constantly cycling on and off?

Frequent cycling of your HVAC system, also known as short cycling, can indicate several potential issues affecting its performance. One common cause is an oversized or undersized system, which can lead to uneven heating or cooling and cause the system to turn on and off frequently as it struggles to maintain the desired temperature. Another possible culprit is a malfunctioning thermostat, inaccurate temperature readings, or faulty wiring, causing the system to cycle unnecessarily. Additionally, dirty or clogged air filters can restrict airflow and force the system to work harder, leading to frequent cycling. To address this problem, it’s crucial to consult with a professional HVAC technician to diagnose the underlying issue accurately and implement the appropriate solutions, such as adjusting the system’s size, replacing the thermostat, or cleaning or replacing the air filters.

Remember, while DIY plumbing or HVAC fix can be tempting, it’s essential to know your limits. If you’re ever unsure or uncomfortable with a plumbing task, don’t hesitate to seek the assistance of a qualified plumber to ensure the job is done safely and effectively.
